Brad Janishewski's Rollin' Thunder holds four track records, has appeared in 30 states and six provinces, and been featured in over ten magazines. The Rollin' Thunder Jet Car is a custom moulded Honda Civic complete with ground effects and under body lights. It features a Westinghouse-built J34 jet engine from an old US Navy F2 McDonnell Douglas fighter jet, capable of burning 30 litres of fuel in six seconds, generating 6,000 horsepower and 12,000 lbs of thrust at speeds of 250 miles per hour! You may have seen the Northern F/X Jet Dragster at drag races, air shows, car burns or auto shows. Everyone agrees that they come to watch "jets" for the fire show. Northern F/X comes to life with its huge fire show and spectacular pass down the ¼ mile. The Northern F/X is a J34 Segal built dragster with a J34-34A Westinghouse jet engine. Equivalent to 12,000 horsepower, the F/X burns 30 gallons of fuel in a single pass and can melt a car in less than one minute! Another crowd pleaser, Western Canada's only jet dragster can go from 0 to 280 mph in less than six seconds! If you were here in previous years, you'll remember seeing the Full Tilt Boogie Wheelstander at the 2006 Thunder in the Valley. This year we're very excited to bring back Canada's Newest ¼ Mile Wheelstander, "Wheelie Fun". This wheelstander made its debut under the northern lights in Fort St. John, BC in July of 2006. Wheelie Fun is a 57 Cameo Pickup, chopped, stretched and handcrafted into Canada's newest quarter mile NHRA licensed wheelstander. Wheelie fun is powered by a blown and injected Keith Black Hemi running on methanol alcohol. Rob "the Wildman" Murphy will pilot it down the track doing over 100 mph on two wheels!
