Admission Fees:
All funds raised through the hosting of Thunder in the Valley Drag Races are dedicated to community projects and services.

Admission fees are set for each year's events. We want to ensure you get value for your contribution to our community and thank you in advance for helping us achieve the best place to live. The Thunder in the Valley Drag Race Committee does not provide refunds on admission fees paid for any reason or cause. Spectators are asked to respect the Committee's responsibility to cancel or postpone the event in the case of inclement weather or unsafe racing conditions. This cancellation may extend into the Committee's alternate race day of the long weekend Monday.

    Friday: Evening Pre-Tech & Fire-Up
    Saturday & Sunday:
        9 am - Gates Open
        10 am - Time Trials
        1 pm - Racing Begins
        Show & Shine
        12 pm - Beer Gardens Open

Campground Facilities

Hotel/Motel Accommodation
Book early to ensure accommodation. Check the Drayton Valley website - www.town.draytonvalley.ab.ca; it lists all local motels, hotels and campgrounds. Volunteers
If your interest in the Thunder in the Valley Drag Race is more than being a spectator, volunteering may be the answer. The Organizing Committee is looking for volunteers to help out with a variety of duties from security, food services, race teching, and facility setup.
